Archer Farms Cold Brew Coffee Black Review
Archer Farms Cold Brew Coffee Black is actually an in house brand made by Target. I don’t think anything needs to be written on the background of Target. In order to create this product they got 15 experts from across their company to develop this product. They spent 2 weeks immersing themselves in everything cold brew to get this out. According to their website they used hand-selected premium coffee beans. These beans are 100% Arabica from Brazil and Peru. The beans are lightly roasted in small batches after being hand selected. They cold brew their beans for hours before bottling.
The smell has a light roast smell but it also actually has a slight sweetness to it as well akin to caramel. The first sip of the drink has a slight sourness mixed with a little sweetness. It has a very pleasant and smooth entry to the drink. When it gets to the middle of the mouth the flavor fades away and then you get just a very bland water flavor. Then as it goes to the very end of the mouth you first get a slight spring water taste at the beginning. After that you get a slow developing coffee taste. The coffee taste is very weak. It has a slight nutty taste as well. The body is very shallow leaving your mouth moments after you finish drinking it. The price is $2.49 for a 12 oz bottle which is $0.16 per ounce.
This is the first time I tried the Target Brand Archer Farms Cold Brew Coffee. It is a rather disappointing cold brew coffee attempt from Target. There was no flavor at all even though you get this nice fragrance from the bottle. If they had only lowered the amount of water they used to brew this it would be good. What little flavor there is in the drink is actually pretty good. I would not suggest trying this cold brew coffee unless you really have no other choice.
